February 12, 1944 - March 30, 1994

Donald A. Garofolo, 50, of Oakland, Calif., son of Alfred A. and Evelyn C. Garofolo of Wethersfield, died Wednesday (March 30, 1994) at the home of dear and caring friends. He was born in Hartford, Feb. 12, 1944, and attended local schools. He graduated from Trinity College in 1965, and obtained his graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Md. He was employed by the Baltimore Board of Education until he moved to San Francisco, Calif., in 1980, where he worked for Wells Fargo Bank. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward J. Garofolo and Nancy Gardner of Manhasset, N.Y., and Alfred J. and Kathleen A. Garofolo of Newington; a sister, Leanne E. Garofolo of Newington; and two nephews, Christopher, and Nicholas Garofolo, both of Newington. He also leaves many loving friends and relatives in Connecticut, Maryland, and California. Final arrangements will be made according to his wishes in Oakland, Calif. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
